SIGNAPURA
Visinvisible diagrams of the self. The human body, as an external instrument of the self, is conducted by our Energy. The mixture of imagination, intelligence and Fantasy is generated by our creativity. Every movement of our body, begins with an inspiration of thought processed from our brain, but there obviously must be something more for us to understand how our creativity works. All of the movements that our body expresses in the process of creation, comes from an idea or a memory in our minds, intuitive or active. In both cases our creativity is evolving into our artistic selves that therefore controls our movements as an instrument.
The perfection of our body in harmony with our energy combined, are able to create everything we want. in the case of dance, we are moved by the music, which connects directly with our feelings. The body recreates images built of curves and vectorial lines, dictated by an internal rhythm.
Natural Lines and Curves
The Arms and Legs have a symmetrical distance to both sides, but in every movement our complete body is included, every small muscle is activated to move another one, and we are able to give priorities to every muscle group in order to move the energy from one part to the other all combined with equilibrium and balance. In the Signapura project, i realized how our bodies were able to create so many symmetrical movements. Although intuitive the body can make perfect curves and lines, like a hand drawing on a paper, the body is totally able to draw everything.
Of course there are limittations because of our perspectives when we draw with our bodies, but in reality the focus is to show the signatures where the arms and legs are used. With symmetrical curves and lines used to show our expression, imagination and creativity portrayed in the process.
The Dancer moves in a poetical way, doing movements from the heart and feeling the moment expressed in the most free and unique way, creating a signature on paper where there are no limits, no time, no space and no obstacles, a time of free creation and expression.
