ESPION(S) (Spy(ies)) is one of the films featured in the selection of the My French Film Festival.com.
Unifrance, in partnership with Allociné and with the support of the Centre National de la Cinématographie and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organized the first French online film festival open to internet users around the world. The objective is to take fully into account the evolution of cultural consumption and to reach a new audience for French cinema abroad.
Synopsis
Vincent, a brilliant young man, works as a porter at an airport. With his colleague, Gerard, Vincent has the habit of looking in the passagers bags before they are loaded in the hold. While he was searching a diplomatic baggage, Gerard died suddenly after an explosion. The owner of the bag, a Syrian diplomat, retrieves the baggage before disappearing. Vincent is then trapped by the DST, who offered him a deal: to avoid jail and collaborate with the secret services French and English to find the men involved in the explosion. The investigation led to Vincent London, who, under a false identity, attempts to bring an English businessman, Peter Burton, apparently manipulated by the Syrian secret services. The DST and MI5 then push Vincent to seduce Burton's wife, Claire, a French fragile. Vincent is close to the young woman and handles for them to work with MI5. Destabilized by the challenges of the mission, Vincent will soon be overtaken by his feelings.
