BLICKFANG - MAK Vienna 13.10.2010

The international design trade fair BLICKFANG will, for the seventh time, be setting new trends in the categories furniture, fashion, jewellery, lighting and accessories. From 15 to 17 October, the Vienna MAK is transformed into a market place and a stage for 140 creative and independently minded designers and some 13,000 anticipated visitors.

"Non-conformist, free-spirited luxury" instead of "mainstream lifestyle trash" is the motto of this trade fair that fosters individualists with a venue every year in Vienna, Tokyo, Zurich, Stuttgart and Basel. There is no room here for extremely commercially orientated labels who seek to parcel creativity up into uniform cardboard boxes of chilling dimensions!

What BLICKFANG prefers rather is a lively combination of well designed products, in various prices ranges, which are not normally to be found under one roof. At BLICKFANG, design is not smoothened out using chemicals, but is still handpicked with its origins quite obvious, making it virtually "genuine organic" to boot: guaranteed natural growth in the good, clean soil of creativity at home and abroad!

Around 140 exhibitors at BLICKFANG stand for this with their good name and will be present from 15 to 17 October at Vienna's MAK in the dual role of designer and information point to attend to the customers interested in the plentiful fruits of their labours.
